DOMAINE CHANDON, INC. (the “Company”, “we” or “us”) respects your concerns regarding the confidentiality of personal information provided by you. This privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes the Company’s practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information on or through its website www.chandon.com (the “Site”). By visiting this Site, and/or using the services offered on or through this Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice as they may be amended from time to time. If you do not agree with any term in this Privacy Notice, please do not use this Site. As we update and expand our services, this Privacy Notice may change, so check back to this page from time to time. This Privacy Notice is incorporated by reference into, and part of, the Terms and Conditions of Use, which governs your use of this Site. This Privacy Notice only applies to personal information (as defined below) that we collect through this Site and your online interactions with us via email, online forms, or other online communications. This Privacy Notice does not apply to information that you may provide to the Company, or that we may obtain, other than through this Site, such as in person at our winery, by phone, through postal mail or through other live and print media.
You may opt in or opt out of our sharing of your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes by following the directions in the “Right to Opt In and Opt Out” section below.
- 1. PROTECTION OF PERSONS UNDER LEGAL ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND PURCHASING AGE
You must not provide us with your personal information if you are not of legal age to purchase alcohol in your country of residence and (if different) in the jurisdiction in which you are accessing the Site. We do not intend to collect personal information from any individuals under the legal purchase age, or to market alcohol beverages to anyone under the legal purchase age. Also, a request to have us stop sharing your personal information with other entities for marketing purposes will only apply as of the date of your request, and we will not be responsible for any communications that you may receive from entities that received your personal information prior to such request. In these cases, please contact that entity directly.
4. HOW IS THE PERSONAL INFORMATION USED
We will use the personal information you provide to our Site, for example, to respond to your requests, process your orders, and to provide you with our product and service offerings. - Your credit card information is never used except to issue refunds and charges for orders placed on our Site. For your own safety, please don't ever use email to send us your credit card information!
- We never display your full credit card number once it has been entered. We will only reveal the last four digits of your credit card for verification purposes.
- For additional security, we do not store your credit card number after processing your payment.
