2) I just signed up for a wine subscription, when will I receive my first shipment?

When you first join our wine subscription, we like to get you your first shipment as soon as possible. Therefore, if the next scheduled club shipment is not scheduled to go out for a month or more, we will send you a shipment within approximately two weeks of joining the club.

3) I have been charged for a wine club shipment, when will I receive my wine?

We usually charge our club shipments on Tuesday, and ship the wines the following Monday. For most of the West coast, the wine is actually only a day or two in transit. On the east coast, allow for 5-10 business days. You will receive an email from UPS when your package is shipped so you can track its progress.

4) How do I update my address or credit card information?Back to Top

Please contact us toll free at 888-242-6366 or by email at clubchandonwine@chandon.com to update your member information.

5) Can I give a wine subscription membership as a gift?

Yes. A Club Chandon wine subscription is the ideal gift, offering wines available exclusively at our winery and to club members, as well as wines carefully selected from our portfolio by our wine makers. In addition, gift members receive red carpet treatment, spectactular savings, VIP status, and special dining benefits in our etoile restaurant. For full details, see "Wine Subscription Membership Benefits".

There are three gift club subscription options all of which share the same membership benefits. The options include an ongoing membership, a 12 month membership or a 6 month membership. If you select the ongoing membership, wine club shipments are sent to the gift recipient every other month and your credit card is charged for the cost of the wines (plus tax and shipping where applicable) one week prior to each club shipment. If you select a 12 or 6 month subscription membership option, your credit card is charged for the full amount of $400 or $200 respectively and the two - three bottles of wine, tasting notes and savvy entertaining tips are sent to the gift recipient every other month.Back to Top

6) I wasn't home to sign for my club shipment, how do I get my wines?

If you have missed a single delivery attempt, call UPS (use the number for the local office listed on the tag they left for you) or Fed Ex, to find out the best method to get your wines, whether it's another delivery attempt, redirecting the wines to a business address, or to pick up your wines. Three delivery attempts will be made before the package is returned. After three returned shipments and attempts to contact you for an alternative delivery address, your membership may be cancelled.

7) Why can't UPS/Fed Ex leave my wine club shipment on my doorstep?

The Federal Government requires that someone 21 or over with a government issued ID be present to sign for any package containing alcohol.

8) How do you avoid temperature damage to wine club shipments?

We have found that most temperature damage occurs when shipments spend time in transit (i.e. on the back of a truck) over the weekend, and thus exposed to extreme temperatures. To avoid this, we occasionally may hold club shipments, notifying you via email of the hold, and also ship via 2nd day air at no additional cost to you to those areas most influenced by extreme temperatures. Regardless of these attempts to protect your wines, if you feel that you have received a damaged bottle, please do not hesitate to contact us for a replacement bottle.Back to Top

9) Can I skip or postpone a club shipment?

Yes. If you are planning to be away from home during a club shipment, please contact us no later than two weeks prior to arrange for an alternative club shipment delivery date. If you wish to skip a shipment altogether, please contact a Club Chanodn club representative via phone to assist you.

10) How do I cancel my wine subscription?

While we hope that you will never have cause to cancel your Club Chandon wine subscription, we understand that situations may arise that force you to end your membership (moving to a non-ship to state or out of the U.S.) Simply send us a letter or fax, or call and speak with a Club Chandon representative.

11) Can I switch my wine club subscription option?

Yes. Please call us and speak with a Club Chandon representative if you would like to switch to one of our other club options.Back to Top

12) Why can't you ship to my state?

State laws regulate the direct shipment of wine, and in some cases prevent wineries from shipping direct to consumers in certain states, or within areas of certain states. Find out more at freethegrapes.org.

Alternatively, if you are in a non-ship to state, perhaps you have a friend or family member in a neighboring ship to state where your club wines can be delivered? Be sure to sign up for our Free Club so that we may notify you if laws change in your state.

13) How much does it cost to become a Club Chandon wine subscriber?

Nothing. It's free to join. As a Club Chandon wine subscription member you receive numerous benefits, such as 20% discount on all Chandon wines in your club shipments, and purchased in our Retail Store, Tasting Salon, Chandon.com, and in our restaurant; invitations to exclusive club member only events, discounts on tours and food in etoile Restaurant.
